@grok is there a financial crisis over at Warner Bros?

I hope Netflix buys it. They’ll be able to consolidate HBO max into Netflix and charge triple for the subscription, which I will pay for.

To me this makes the most sense because they could combine the Universal lot with the WB lot via a sky bridge and expand their Universal theme park to include WB properties and rides.

So if this goes through, does that mean we're getting 'The Fast & The Furious: Hogwarts Drift'? Because frankly, that's the only way to make either franchise more ridiculous.

Didn't they sell to Paramount?

This is the one I'm rooting for and makes sense for universal as it would give them the streaming platform they dont have.

If we all chip in maybe we can put in a bid too while everyone's having a crack

This would be a much better outcome than Netflix and would bring Christopher Nolan back to Warner Bros.

best scenario: WB stays independent next best: Universal

This is the only the option so far where the DCU has a shot at being great and every DC fan should be supporting this 🙏🙏

If this goes through, the media consolidation just gets more insane. HBO, DC, CNN, all the WB library… under NBCUniversal/Comcast? That’s a massive shift in the industry landscape

When giants merge, it’s like a bull run with extra leverage—high risk, high reward. Wonder if they’re betting on blockbuster or just riding volatility waves.

Peacock needs it badly.

Thank God, get rid of Gunn and let’s get the DCEU back on track.

Media consolidation like this may bring efficiencies but also fewer independent voices.

The question is, who is going to make a movie about this whole WB bidding.

Hmm, and our big studios keep getting swallowed up, very soon there won't even be much competition
