The goal is to peg the cost per laptop at ₦250,000 (including delivery fees), though not all vendors have agreed to this price yet. As much as some people are genuine with their desire to help the needy, I strongly believe many do good just to be seen doing it. It’s no longer about compassion or impact, but about attention and validation. You hear them say, “Oh, I did it!” as though kindness were a competition. They’ve built a pattern of self-glorification. What i will call a modern-day version of the Pharisees the Bible described. The kind who give publicly but for selfish gain. True kindness doesn’t scream for notice. Real compassion doesn’t seek applause. The moment your good deeds become a show, their purity fades. Because the essence of goodness lies not in how many people witnessed it, but in how sincere your heart was when doing it. God sees through our motives, even when the world praises us.
