We used to call things like this Scams.

“Rooms being bigger” like they haven’t been using the fish eye camera for decades? 🤣 Please.

When I was looking at listings ahead of a cross country move, we found one with pictures of a pool in the backyard. There was fine print saying the images don't necessarily reflect the listing they're posted to. Of course the property didn't have a pool. Shady.

My realtor did this on the last property I sold — sent interior photos of each room to India and they ‘virtually’ furnished it with $200k in high-end decorating. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Turning empty dumps into dream pads with a few AI clicks is straight fraud that wastes everyone’s time and kills trust in every listing you scroll past

Photoshop has been around since the 1990s I think? You never buy a house without seeing it in your eyes, unless you have a lot of money to burn

This is clearly misleading...maybe worse.

Nothing new, really. They've been using overblown HDR trickery and editing to make things look far more epic than they are in reality. These people are parasites. Sell your own house. The residential real estate industry is outdated and has far too much control.

100%. What if the seller instead used AI to see what cleaning and giving a their home curb appeal looked like and then instead of lying they just did that shit, seems more honest.

The housing market has become full of misleading tactics. People deserve transparency when making one of the biggest purchases of their lives.

Yes seeing this first hand.

This is largely irrelevant It will waste buyers' time, but if you go see the place, this will be sussed out...

I'm definitely going to see the room I want to rent physically before anything
Replying to @EZE3D
This is good though. When you show up to look at it in person and you see the differences - you know what kind of landlord you are dealing with.
Replying to @EZE3D
It's not surprising, but it's depressing that we've reached the point where AI is being deployed specifically to commit bait-and-switch on housing. 🤖

I literally moved into an apartment that had pictures from nine years ago every single thing in here looks way different and very bad😭 it's my first apartment so whatever but oh my God

I mean, they can do that all they want. Nobody’s buying a house without going to see it first.

In the past, only large corporations and equity capital firms could use Photoshop on their ads to find clients. Now the masses can do it as well.

I mean... That is VERY obviously a CGI image. I'm amazed anyone would think it's real.
