I mean, the Japanese DOES do things to the extreme. When rice farming technique was spreading in Asia, once it got to Japan, it EXPLODED like wildfire. Post-war economic growth? Practically overnight growthspurt. War crimes? As a SEA, we got a literal museum for just THOSE.
