The Oxford-Union "debate" between Islamist Muhammad Hijab and Destiny was predictably a highly undignified affair on both sides. In just his second statement Hijab made multiple vulgar puns about Destiny's former open marriage (completely irrelevant to the debate), while Destiny looks frankly intimidated and weak.

Sure, that's annoying. But get past it. Look at the substance of what was being said. I find it so odd that people hyper-focus in the silliness and forget the substance.

To be honest, if people want to be taken seriously then they shouldn鈥檛 engage in that silliness/behavior.
MH ends up looking incredibly weak. His core defense of his religion was essentially just repeatedly attacking Destiny for his sex life or for his position on Gaza. Not only that but it really doesn鈥檛 represent destinys position on Gaza well.
Did you even watch the 10 second clip going around? He explicitly talks about how atheism doesn't automatically mean liberalism and materialism cannot jump to morality. He cites David Hume. How did you miss that?
