Are we on a witch hunt now for everyone that only draws straight couples only? The fact we are cancelling artist for not drawing same sex couples is insane. Can we please understand that artist can say NO and that even if they wanted too, they may not be in a safe space to draw queer / LGBTQIA+ content. We are just shaming them on X/Twitter for no reason; we have just seen this happen and both people got sent threats etc... keep it in DMs and be respectful. I understand this wasn't in their terms and conditions when this commission was ordered and that is on the artist. They were very nice about it and communicated which is lovely of them instead of straight up cancelling the order.

as a queer person who once opened a writing commission: yes i had "no het ship" in my tos, no it doesnt make me heterophobic. artists & writers are allowed to have DOs & DONTs and you should respect their tos.
