I think one of the nerdiest things I do is make app color schemes based on this one frame of the Nostromo UI from Alien.

Twitter annoyingly compresses the colors so they don't look quite right but I did one for vscode a while back.

Finally it's out, my experiment in all-monospace web! owickstrom.github.io/the-mon… I've tried to include a bunch of different elements to showcase the idea. Many more things could be added and supported. I've had a lot of fun with this so far!

The font is sort of what Palantir does… I think some tech with this exact aesthetic you just showed would go hard. Palantir screenshot for an example comparison. Not exact, but the same vein of design.
