Guests at an Expressway Suites in Fargo recorded a worker washing hotel sheets in the chlorinated pool and stirring them with a broomstick
Hotel management said the hot tub is sometimes used to remove stains from linens
“The sheets are put into the hot tub, and it gets out tiny little stains, then the hot tub is drained. It is really heavily cleaned by a huge deep cleaner,” a hotel worker told the guest
They claimed the sheets on the beds are washed the traditional way
They said the pool method is only used as a last resort and only when the pool is closed
The hotel told guests it is checking with city health officials to see if the practice is safe
