This is Valerie Kneale.
In 2017, Valerie had a stroke at home. She was admitted to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, chatty but with a broken leg.
Just 4 days later she passed away.
After her first night nurses felt nauseous when they entered her room. There was โblood everywhereโ one said.
The post mortem showed that she had been violently sexually assaulted that first night, causing massive internal injuries.
Nobody has been held accountable.
This is frightening for many people. You have to trust the hospital when you are at your most vulnerable. How often does this happen?
