I have seen the harrowing footage of terrorists storming a northern community, compelling an unimaginable number of Christians, men, women, children, the elderly, and the young, to dig their own mass grave. They were then forced to lie within it, only to be executed in the most brutal and inhumane manner imaginable.
It is all too easy, from the safety and comfort of one’s home, to dismiss or deny the systematic extermination of Christians in northern Nigeria.
Yet it is nothing short of callous, and indeed, morally reprehensible, to refute credible claims of genocide when one is not the one enduring its horrors.
Those who suffer these atrocities deserve our unwavering solidarity, not scepticism born of distance and detachment.
Even those doing PR on X for these terrorists are disturbed because we are calling for the extermination of terrorists in Nigeria. We know what you are.
