Elixir's ecosystem keeps expanding, from IoT to machine learning with Nx and Axon, and now AI-assisted development with Tidewave. I'm exploring a new frontier for Elixir: Trading. Just integrated TheoryCraft with @livebookdev using Kino. Live charts, indicators, and strategy logic all in Elixir. #MyElixirStatus

Looks like I’m not the only one playing around with financial time series data in livebook. The analytics tooling in conjunction with VegaLite is soooo nice!

Ohhh, a coworker! Let's go! If it's not too intrusive, What kind of analytics are you playing with?

I wouldn’t say it’s a new frontier for Elixir. Also consider, when someone develops trading technology that actually helps them make money, what’s the incentive to let others know about it? Trading is zero sum.
You're right that trading isn't a new concept, but Elixir doesn't yet have a well-developed ecosystem for it, unlike IoT with Nerves/AtomVM or ML with Nx/Axon/Bumblebee. I’d like Elixir to become a real option for building and backtesting strategies. As for the zero-sum part, I agree but there's still plenty of room for everyone to learn, explore new edges, and grow together. The goal isn't to share profitable strategies, it's to share curiosity and the joy of building things that go beyond just money.
