WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SAYING? THIS IS THE FIGHT! FIGHT THIS FIGHT!
Schumer: "However this vote turns out, this fight will and must continue. Democrats must fight."

Can you tell the American people what the ACA is and who voted it into law? And how well it has worked for the American people.

Schumer is either incapable of leading or unwilling to. He’s been lukewarm, at best, in his aversion to Trumpism for a decade. If he can’t or won’t meet the need of the hour, and adamantly fight fascism tooth and nail, he’s making peace with evil, whether or not he realizes it.

And when do you start fighting,Chuck?

Exactly Another day or two and the GOP would've been bending the knee to save the economy from being destroyed by the flight cancellations! You should've called their bluff! Doesn't anybody there know how to play poker?

Insane line for a debate zinger

There's no fight in that dog. Fight? He won't even bark at the people carrying your valuables out of the house. How long are we going to continue to support a party that does not support us? How long are we going to trust them with our care and have them bungle it?
Replying to @JDCocchiarella
You need to lower your expectations. The man eats raw cheeseburgers.

My guess is that Schumer caved because he thought Rs might actually get rid of the filibuster if he didn't. My opinion is that, even if they did threaten that, they should vote no anyway.

Okay, I gave this party a chance. But it’s leadership is nothing but a joke. Guess it’s time to go the Independent route. Because both these parties suck, for different reasons of course. But they still both suck….✌🏼

A party where every poll tells them that Americans think they are “too weak” and “aren’t fighting republicans hard enough” and this is their response.

More performances from surrendering Schumer. Make the deal, then pretend you’re against the deal. @SenSchumer is not on our side.

You can't win the fight if you have no power. Republicans still control everything. Democrats have to win more midterms then the GOP would be pushed into a corner. GOP doesn't feel threatened at all especially with Trump call the shots.

As predicted Obamacare/ACA was never meant to make healthcare premiums affordable. Democrats think it is acceptable to inflict pain on all Americans to benefit a few Americans as long as they get their kickback from the insurance companies. The insurance companies get rich, democrats get rich and Americans are left with the bill. The fact democrats tried to hold Americans hostage to hide that fact proves they know it too. This is the new “DEMOCRAT BRAND”

@SenSchumer You had the fight in your hands to save ACA premiums for struggling working americans for at least a yr. The American ppl showed up at the polls to show you they stood with you. You caved behind the doors. This is nothing but political theatrics. RESIGN!

He won’t. They won’t. They’re cowards. They have no respect or, frankly, fear of their constituents. Republicans will never turn on their voters because they are afraid they’ll be murdered. Dems are zero percent afraid of any consequences at all. Maybe it’s time for them to be.

Well, then rally your troops instead of secretly getting votes together to open the government. Yeah I feel horrible about the shutdown, but we cannot fold to the evil and crooked GOP who lie and will never ever negotiate and if they do, they won’t honor it

Schumer needs to be forced to step down from leadership. This is a disgrace. The senate Dems failed and Schumer needs to be held accountable. If not then why would any one take them Dems seriously in the future?

America isn’t being governed — it’s being managed like a failing casino. The lights are still on, the music still plays, but behind the curtain everything’s on fire and the pit bosses are stuffing chips into their jackets. Congress? They’re not lawmakers — they’re crisis sommeliers, pairing every national emergency with a fresh excuse and a donor-approved talking point. This administration? They treat the country like it’s a loyalty program. Rewards for the rich. Penalties for the poor. And the rest of us are just waiting on hold for customer service while the nation crumbles in the background. Look at their track record: – They froze SNAP like it was some optional luxury instead of the difference between groceries and starvation. – They let millions go without childcare, then acted shocked when people couldn’t afford to show up to work like the economy runs on vibes. – They slashed disaster preparedness, then blamed the weather when communities drowned, burned, collapsed, or starved. – They turned Border Patrol into political theater, leaving asylum seekers, border communities, and taxpayers screwed at the same time. – They kneecapped worker protections, then told everyone to “tough it out” as if rent accepts courage as payment. – They used the DOJ as a personal dry-cleaning service, bleaching every scandal until the tags fell off. – They turned foreign policy into an auction, treating world leaders like bidders at an estate sale where America is the estate. And the Supreme Court? Oh, they sprinted off the deep end. They’ve become the nation’s reverse fairy godmother — everything they touch turns into fewer rights, more suffering, and a new legal theory even they can’t explain without a séance. Meanwhile Congress is out here acting like hall monitors during the apocalypse. They “express concern,” hold a hearing, send a stern letter, and then go on recess for six weeks while the country bleeds through the bandages. This isn’t a government. It’s a moral Ponzi scheme. The people invest hope, trust, tax dollars — and the political class pays it out to everyone except the people it belongs to. They failed us at the border. They failed us on food security. They failed us on basic human dignity. They failed us on accountability. They failed us on economic survival. They failed us everywhere, consistently, enthusiastically, and with snacks. And through it all, they keep looking shocked — shocked — that the public is angry. We’re angry because we were promised a republic and handed a broken vending machine that eats our money and blames us for shaking it. But here’s the twist Washington didn’t factor in: The American people don’t quit. We adapt. We organize. We remember. If the three branches want to keep operating like a cartel, that’s their choice. But cartels fall. Empires crack. And governments stop being governments the moment the governed decide they’re done being played. We’re done. We’re awake. And we’re not going anywhere. This time, it won’t be forgotten. It won’t be forgiven. And it sure as hell won’t be ignored.

I just removed Democrat from my bio. Don’t want to be associated with such weak-ass leadership. I’m an independent until further notice.

Totally agree. This is probably the only fight left, fir politicans. Only a revolution can take you away from dictatorship after giving up now. What a stupid move.

Interesting that you all have blamed the Republicans for a shutdown. They finally get enough Dems to end it and you lose your minds.
