@ filmmakers would love to level up my color grading skills, if you can teach me in 30 mins, hit me up! If you're in SF, dinner on me

If your work never makes anyone uneasy, it’s not honest. Your truth will always collide with someone else’s. If it doesn’t move people, you’re betraying your soul. That’s why I walk the fine line between art and discomfort, even in marketing. Bring your own truth.

The best ideas fit in 5-10 words. If you can’t explain it that short, you’re either doing too much or it’s just not a good idea. Had one of those moments today while prepping content. When you reach the essence, everything else clicks.

If a marketing idea doesn’t position your product as the solution, it’s probably the wrong idea. Just killed a “banger” concept because it didn’t serve the story. Still hurts... so might do it later thought :p

I’ve been spending less time with tech bros in San Francisco and more time with creatives, marketers, and filmmakers. It feels different. More fulfilling. More human. Less “what did you build?” More “what are you trying to say?” I’ve always been an artist, a rebellious, never quite fitting in. From teaching myself to code at 10 to growing my TikTok to 25k… But every bit of growth came from breaking bubbles. I still love nerding out for hours on hard tech topics, but nothing feels as alive as finding my voice, thinking in stories, and expressing it. Every time I reinvent myself, people doubt it. Then you fast-forward, and you see who kept growing, and who stayed the same. The more worlds you connect, the more unique you become.

Negotiation is energy, the one who needs nothing controls everything. If you’re fine walking away, you win. If your startup life depends on it and they sense it, you lose.

Thinking of buying a WHOOP band, worth it? I’ve got an Oura Ring & Apple Watch Ultra (but I always forget to charge them and don’t like wearing rings). WHOOP lasts ~14 days and looks solid.

Competitors will try to waste your time, with hate, wit, or distraction. Stay on your path. Keep your own agenda. Ignore the Ls.

Best bookkeeping & tax accounting for a Delaware C-Corp? Everyone keeps saying @Fondocom, @PilotHQ, @Xendoo_, @taxfyle… They all seem great if you’re VC-backed and don’t mind burning insane dollars. I want a small firm or CPA who can go the extra mile.

Life’s too short to keep people who drain you. Protect your peace, protect your inner child.

I love living in Marina… but every time I see a FiDi apartment with Bay Bridge views, I question my life choices.
