Why do you film that instead of doing something?

When I was a kid, I was walking on the sidewalk with my friend, some dude pulls up and said he had puppies in the car and asked for directions if we could help him get to his destination. The girl standing beside me, said yes, I’ll go, I said no we are not going. Thank God, my mom and my dad taught me to say no to strangers

You are right but many kids get approached on the net . How can you keep them safe ?

Yes, being aware of your surroundings is key. This happened to me and a friend when I was in my teens. A car full of men stopped and asked if we needed a ride. When we said no, one got out and chased us. We jumped a fence, but he couldn't get over it. He ran back to the car, and they hunted us down. We hid in bushes and under evergreen trees. As we lay on the ground, we saw their headlights as they slowly drove up and down the street. After about an hour, we safely reached a restaurant. We narrowly escaped.

Unpopular opinion but teaching your kids how to work like this is one of the best things you can do for them

That was creepy! I can’t believe that car was driving back and forth. Good thing someone cares about that little girl and taught her to keep and eye out for danger!

One thing that's been surprising about fatherhood is how funny kids are Every single day, at least once, I find myself laughing hysterically at something one of my kids does My older son does exactly the same thing the kid in this video is doing He has some toy plastic tools, and the other day I was tightening some screws on our closet doors... He walked in the room with his plastic screwdriver and asked if he could have a turn... Then proceeded to (with extreme earnestness and intense focus) spin his plastic screwdriver against the screws 🤣

Awareness & practiced reflex under pressure should be taught the moment they can walk.

"Most the times people wont atack the person who is aware".. FACTS BUT ALSO THE PERSON WHO LOOKS READY AND WANTS OTHERS TO KNOW ..... LIKE THE RATTLE OF A SNAKE.

Looks like a nice neighborhood too. Bad things can happen anywhere.

I saw a person in a backpack that was drugged and pushed in the front of a car. Until now I can still remember that incident. It happened at a little park in NY. I remember the face of the guy , the young person, the car and drivers license. I kept looking at the news for a lost teen but there was none. She had a backpack.

I wasn't taught, it became instinctual. I had a creep who followed me on my street. He started to just happened to be driving the same time I got out of school. I hid behind a neighbors tree until he passed, the neighbor came out and watched me till I got to my house. After that I would either try to head out of school (this was elementary school) quickly to beat him or hang around a little bit to be walking later after he drove up my street. Mom called the cops, I told them what his car looked like, they found him up the street living with his mother. Never saw him drive around near my house ever again. I miss the LA cops of the 60s. Creepers had a habit of disappearing or accidently getting hurt to the point that they don't creep in that town again....wink wink.

This is horrible. I grew up like this because of where I lived when I was her age. It seems like this is a completely normal reality for all children now. This is horrific to constantly be afraid of being kidnapped.

🚨 Any police officers watching this video — I hope you can check the license plate and identify who is in the car.🚙

That a girl!! We took my granddaughters to months and months of self-defense classes and the number one thing they learned was situational awareness. We make them put their phones in their pockets when they are walking anywhere. Free hands, roaming eyes.

As a community, we should watch after these kids, even if random. If ya work from home or are home and know kids are out of school at a specific time, ya should help the community monitor these kids and if ya see something suspicious, jump into action. 99% of the time an adult presence will scary off these pedo rats.

That’s some sharp crisis sense. Probably comes from how your parents guided you through life. Still, trusting your gut matters it’s helped me pick the right answer more than a few times.

This video taught me a lot. Will start being more conscious of my surroundings.

I was kidnapped from a Coney Island beach as a child. The person was dressed in a clown costume passing out balloons to children. My parents were arguing walking along the beach and kinda left me there. The man grabbed me and threw me in his vehicle. He took me into an apartment and tried to drown me in a tub filled with water. Neighbors called the police after hearing me scream and they had a team kicked down the door and save me. The man was arrested.

When i was 9, a guy tried to get me to get in his car, My mom was working, and I forgot to tell her. A couple days later, a pic of him was on the news because he was wanted for murder. He had killed my bf. Kids need to be aware of surroundings. Don't trust strangers

Watch true crime shows & news with your child. It shows what can happen. #1 Self aware #2 drop anything you have. If you can't run, kick scream scratch and bite. If you end up in the car, if possible, jump out no matter the speed, cover head, then roll.

This is powerful! One of the biggest challenge to this is smart phones, this generation, we are always on our phones. If she was pressing her phone, she would have been easily whisked away.
