Har så mycket större positiv impact på världen än vad någon stat har, förr byggde staten kraftverk, uppfann teknologier, räddade världen, idag görs det av syftesdrivna privata företag:
Now that we have a trillionaire, I'm just going to say it: We don't have nearly enough trillionaires.

hot take: central park should stretch from shore to shore the city should bore deep into the bedrock, surpassing even the dwarves of moria
hot take: central park should be paved over and turned into an airport

Tesla Sverige har fått tillstånd av Transportstyrelsen att, fram till 2/10 2026, testa sin självkörande teknologi på statliga motorvägar och motortrafikleder. Vilket genombrott! Facket måste koka av ilska

The moment Tesla shares exceed the $1,000 mark for the first time, I will begin implementing my nature reserve park that I have been planning for years. I could start today, but with greater leverage, I can purchase much more land and develop a larger park with greater diversity and possibilities. The place is a very special and unique landscape where I grew up, and the nature is for specific reasons one of its kind in Germany, without exaggeration. Agriculture destroyed it over the last 1,000 years, starting at a time when the Vikings came by in their long boots, so I will do my part to reverse the damage. It will be a project that I will manage hopefully for many decades to come to my end and it'll be designed to continue after my death and remain a park untouched by humans as far as I can control it legally. I will likely open a new account at that time and report on the progress with pictures, videos and more information.

Yeah I strongly doubt this. This is what a dedicated 25 MW/100 MWh gravity energy storage facility looks like in the real world (Rudong County, Jiangsu, China). Note wind turbines and cement truck at bottom center for scale. Batteries will always beat this. (h/t @JessePeltan)
High-rise buildings could soon use gravity energy storage, say researchers: Researchers in Canada have proposed using gravity-based energy storage in high-rise buildings, in combination with photovoltaic… dlvr.it/TNhKsr #Photovoltaics #EnergyStorage #RenewableEnergy

THEY JUST MADE MAKING TUNNELS LOOK COOL WTF
Prufrock-4 is our smartest, fastest and safest Tunnel Boring Machine. And the next iterations (5, 6, and 7) are already being built at The Boring Factory in Texas. Goal is Continuous Mining and Zero-People-in-Tunnel (ZPIT). We are hiring exceptional ME, EE, and SWEs - join us!
The app looks pretty cool:
Tesla Robotaxi went live to the public last night in downtown Austin. They are still crazy rare vs Waymo. I’ve only seen two today, and 200 Waymos.

The yellowish color is definitely not rust nor burned away tiles. Modern spacecraft uses ablative shields (Avcoat, PICA/PICA-X) for heat resistance. When those get hot and cooled down, it creates a brownish color. Upon reentrying, hot air dissociates forming NOx; NO2 in particular, creates a brownish yellow. This Is Not Rust !

Now this is podracing! So cool to see peak power upgrades with Solar & BESS when the grid can't serve
From renderings to reality. We started exploring this project 2y ago, it was clear that there would be a significant shortage of charging capacity for this corridor, that the 20MW+ utility upgrades would not arrive in time, and that nobody was doing anything about it. @TeslaCharging is serious about not slowing down EV adoption, and hence had to leverage the full @TeslaEnergy ecosystem. Congrats to the hardcore teams on delivering, on-time for summer peaks!
This means a pre-charging LCOS of $22/MWh at 5000 cycles. This means a fully dispatchable solar hour could be produced at $50/MWh +/-15. Why would you build any other power source?
At $51/kWh, you can store 100% of the daily production of a ~$1,000 solar array for just ~$300. You can dispatch that for any demand profile you want. Flat, peaking at night, all over 4 hours — whatever you want. For most things and most grids, demand not only exists during the day, but it peaks during the day — so you don’t actually have to store 100% of the production. Very soon, there will be no such thing as solar without storage.

When in doubt about what Elon is doing, always ask yourself: "What would Harri Seldon have done?"

Yes, and ASAP!!! “This paper advocates for Independent System Operators (ISOs) to accelerate the adoption of grid-forming systems through markets incentives, updated interconnection standards, and regulatory frameworks that prioritize this advanced technology.”

I am very excited to share that my new book — #STELLAR: A WORLD BEYOND LIMITS, AND HOW TO GET THERE — co-authored with my good friend @jamiearbib, is out on March 18th. Its aims are to explain the ‘extractive’ world we live in currently, set out a vision for the extraordinary #StellarWorld that is now possible, and provide a guide through the increasing turbulence that we’re experiencing because of this ongoing #transformation. It is the most important thing I have ever written, and I am looking forward to sharing it with you all. ✨ 📖

I am honored to receive President Trump’s @realDonaldTrump nomination to serve as the next Administrator of NASA. Having been fortunate to see our amazing planet from space, I am passionate about America leading the most incredible adventure in human history. On my last mission to space, my crew and I traveled farther from Earth than anyone in over half a century. I can confidently say this second space age has only just begun. Space holds unparalleled potential for breakthroughs in manufacturing, biotechnology, mining, and perhaps even pathways to new sources of energy. There will inevitably be a thriving space economy—one that will create opportunities for countless people to live and work in space. At NASA, we will passionately pursue these possibilities and usher in an era where humanity becomes a true spacefaring civilization. I was born after the Moon landings; my children were born after the final space shuttle launch. With the support of President Trump, I can promise you this: We will never again lose our ability to journey to the stars and never settle for second place. We will inspire children, yours and mine, to look up and dream of what is possible. Americans will walk on the Moon and Mars and in doing so, we will make life better here on Earth. It is the honor of a lifetime to serve in this role and to work alongside NASA’s extraordinary team to realize our shared dreams of exploration and discovery. Grateful to serve, Jared
We are very grateful to the thousands of Americans who have expressed interest in helping us at DOGE. We don’t need more part-time idea generators. We need super high-IQ small-government revolutionaries willing to work 80+ hours per week on unglamorous cost-cutting. If that’s you, DM this account with your CV. Elon & Vivek will review the top 1% of applicants.
Lätt bästa tecknade filmen där ute! Handlar om känslan att försöka komma ihåg en dröm och att minnet sipprar iväg varje sekund

I don’t usually post photos of myself but @TechieTex got this photo of me after I witnessed the booster catch… and I thought it captured my emotions better than words ever could. How can we articulate the magnitude of what we just witnessed?
