“Producing more code” is not something to brag about. Our primary goal as developers should be to deliver on requirements with the least amount of code possible.

But neither is the now comically oft-seen brag 'seniors deleted code' 'my best commit was -n hundred lines.' Folks, most software does nothing. And wait it gets even worse: and it still manages to do nothing badly most of the time!
