The Gov takes 46% right off the top of our income, then tax you on EVERYTHING & ANYTHING In Canada, there’s ZERO REASONING to do more, to do better because the Gov just takes the majority of it!

When i moved my business(es) stateside, the effect was astonishing --- it was weird to hear myself say that is all they want? Keep in mind i moved my business(es) to a state with no sales tax, no income tax, low property tax, lower crime rate than Ontario, and most importantly, business-friendly.

The x's lawyer in my divorce said I should work overtime to pay more, as he was asking for 5 grand plus per month. I don't work overtime, I dont want to work in Canada at all,

Absolutely bullshit. I posted that in 2023 my gross was 130k and with 9k in RRSP Contributions and pension Contributions my TOTAL tax is paid, prov and FED was just under 18%....this is from my taxes return that year. I got lsmbasted as no one believed me. It's true.

I think we should stop paying taxes for a while. It would shake the government up a bit. That's how they pay their salaries and wonderful pensions, and they give it to other countries too! When we need it most. 😠 The government doesn't have money. It's our money. I really do think it's time we shake the cage a bit, they've gotten careless and spoiled. They work for us.
