... says the guy who just got duped by Pandering Pierre. lol. You don't have an opinion. You have a man-crush.
I'm a CANADIAN veteran, Mario; so - y'know - I know lip service when I hear it.
Those of us who understand Canadian politics know the important part of any political statement comes after the "but..." and everything before it is just pandering.
"I believe in free speech, but..."
"I believe in the right to protest, but..."
"I believe in bodily autonomy, but..."
"I respect you as a veteran, but..."
If respect for veterans is to mean anything at all, then it should mean a willingness to hear us out when we have something to say about what's going on in the country we served, WITHOUT resorting to character assassinations.
It's quite galling that you would make a statement about delusions of grandeur on the part of any veteran, especially in light of current suicide trends. It betrays a woeful ignorance, on your part, that is totally incompatible with the respect to which you pay lip-service...
... and it's not exactly like you're in a position to criticize anyone for clout-chasing, having shamelessly fan-boi'ed your way into man dates with Pierre, BUT...
... thanks for the demonstration in the ironclad law of woke projection.
