Plus the "i want to give you the opportunity.." is so smug and tone deaf. Sydney is giving HER the opportunity to conduct the interview. Sydney doesn't need this interview. You have a chance to talk with a celeb that's got all kinds of things going for her, and talk to her in this childish, coaxing tone, trying to lead her down some path of feeling like she did something wrong for being in a pants commercial. Yuck!

I really don't know what this bothers me so much, but maybe it's just an example of someone just trying to turn something in to controversy or trying their best to turn everything negative. And that interviewer gets paid from a company to do this.
