Several students were taken to the hospital due to injuries caused by the incident. This attack happened as SJP TMU, an official TMU ratified club rallied just down the street, promoting slogans like "Zionist murderers" and calling to shut the event down. According to Toronto Police, multiple arrests were made, and there are ongoing investigations into the incident. This is an unacceptable violent escalation, targeting Jews, silencing peaceful dialogue, and openly using intimidation and violence to disrupt a planned event.
