I'd like you to think of Hungary as of an island of common sense and traditional values. History has always been a vast ocean, and storms are not rare. If you feel lost, we can offer a safe intellectual harbor. But dont stay for long, take the tranquility you find home with you.

After 🇭🇺 @PM_ViktorOrban’s meeting with 🇺🇸 @realDonaldTrump, I joined @richardquest on @questcnn to explain Hungary’s position: why we welcome the new U.S. administration’s commitment to peace, and why Europe needs a more realistic approach to the war. 👇
The danger of millions of Ukrainians seeking refuge in Europe this winter is VERY real. But the way to prevent that is to force Zelensky to accept a humiliating, but limited defeat NOW, while there is still something left of the energy infrastructure. Every bullet, every missile, every cent given to Zelensky prolongs the pointless war and increases the chances for a catastrophic collapse.
Politicians in Europe need to realise that a huge increase in Ukrainian refugees is inevitable unless military and economic aid to Ukraine is rapidly stepped up.

🇺🇸🤝🇭🇺 @FM_Szijjarto announced that Hungary has obtained a permanent exemption from sanctions, following an agreement between @PM_ViktorOrban and President @realDonaldTrump. 💬 The minister confirmed that oil and gas shipments to Hungary will not be subject to any sanctions for an indefinite period, guaranteeing the country’s long-term energy security. 💡Anyone claiming otherwise wasn’t at the negotiations. It’s easier to ask those of us who were, FM Szijjártó added, emphasizing that Hungarian families will continue to enjoy Europe’s lowest energy prices.

Outside the White House, optimism meets strategy. A big economic deal is on the horizon — where determination turns into advantage.

A civilisational struggle is underway in the Western world. Those who uphold Christian traditional values must prevail over radical progressive forces that threaten our societies, families, and public safety. The future of Western civilisation is at stake. Europe, it's time to wake up! ⚠️
This is so monumentally dumb, it could ONLY come from a Harvard "Democracy Fellow".

🇭🇺 Hungary got what it wanted in Washington: peace on the table, energy secured, sanctions bypassed. Brussels can threaten — but Hungary delivers.

The only European voice Washington listens to is Hungary's. It is time for Brussels to understand that.

PM Orbán meets President Trump at the White House. Both call for peace in Ukraine and stronger U.S.–Hungary relations — and slam Biden’s failed policies.

Ukrainian drones are shredding russia’s oil industry — up to 38% of its refining capacity is offline. 💥 The best sanctions come with wings. Believe in Ukraine. Support Ukraine.

Just to make it clear: last night's russian raid doesn't make the top 10. Possibly not even the top 20. The Ukrainians are at the end of the road (and air defense). The current (Alaska) peace conditions are: - Zelensky vacates the Donbas - He legalizes the Russian language and Church. - The Europeans pretend to give symbolic "security guarantees" (not real ones) to Kiev. That's what peace would take right now. Not much. Not much at all.
This night was difficult. On the map, you can see what the Russian attack on Ukraine looked like on the night of November 7 to 8. The Russians launched 458 drones (of which more than 300 were Shahids) and 45 missiles (of which 32 were ballistic). Russia is methodically destroying the country's energy system. The International Criminal Court has opened proceedings on these actions, qualifying them as crimes against humanity. Millions of people in Ukraine may face this winter without heating, light, water, and basic survival items. We need air defense systems and tomahawks to stop these missiles and drones at Russian military airfields.

Some media claim that the US exemption granted to Hungary from sanctions on oil and gas is only for one year. Fake news. Those who write this were not in the room. The exemption is permanent for an indefinite period.
