I’m no big fan of RSS - BJP , in fact I’m opposed to mixing religion and politics. But the fact remains that BJP had turned out to be an electoral behemoth because of its sheer dedication and focus. If polarisation is an art , then BJP is its Picasso , however the canvas was and is being provided by Rahul Gandhi single handedly. Traditionally , Indian electors don’t elect those who keep blaming the system. They may empathise with the complaints . But will never trust them to be their rulers. When opposition said Indira Hatao - Indira did not play victim card , she said Garibi Hatao. That won the hearts of the people. When JJ was physically attacked and abused inside assembly , she swore she will come back to that very assembly as cm and nothing lesser. People gave her the mandate. When her nomination papers were disqualified , she went to the people and said people mattered more than courts and election commission , even when she was not a candidate , people resoundingly backed her. History is replete with many such examples. Playing the victim card is ok to an extent. But when you over do it , people lose trust in your capacity to rule. They like assertive personalities , not whining rudalis. Rahul Gandhi , stop cribbing , you and your party lost and keep losing because you have no grip on the pulse of the people. Congress is needed in this nation. Get your act together. Stop searching for excuses and creating them from thin air.
