Hear this lovely story of how Yesudas planned his first Sabarimala yatra. He was standing outside Sree Poornathrayesa temple listening to bhajans (could not go inside as per rules). At that time, some Swamis, on their way back from Sabarimala were reciting "Swami Saranam Ayyappa" He got interested and asked whether there is any restriction of going to Sabarimala (on account of religion). After some enquiry, he got the confirmation of the same and from then on...have had darshan many times. He also talks about uniqueness of Sabarimala- everywhere else, Devotees pray to God In Sabarimala, the Lord gives his name (Ayyappan) to all devotees who come to have his darshan. It's in Malayalam but you can still hear and enjoy his emotions

Across all faiths, beyond divide, One truth remains, none can hide. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the ancient call, Declares the world one family—one all. No lines of religion can truly bind, For in every heart, the same soul you’ll find. In unity and love, let us be one, Under the moon, beneath the sun. The earth, our shared and sacred home, Together forever, no more to roam. Bound by this truth, let kindness flow, One family, united, wherever we go.

India has the worst roads, filled with potholes, dust, and corruption. What else do you expect when you elect a Sugar Minister to handle Roads and Highways? That’s not governance, that’s a joke on taxpayers.

Dear @venkat_fin9, Democracy is noble but not when hijacked by vote bank politics, illegal demographics, corrupt institutions, and anti-national appeasement. India isn’t China. We have the population, but unlike China, we suffer from filthy corruption, fake secularism, illegal infiltration, radical appeasement, and a compromised judiciary. Democracy has become a weapon against the nation. When the majority is silenced and the law fears the lawless, what we need isn’t more elections but uncompromising leadership and ironclad governance. This is no longer about ideals. It’s about survival. Unrest, disintegration, and Caliphate are looming. @mahendra3 @_dharam_vir @NKapoor2020

My friend shared this story in Mahabharata. Guru Dronacharya one day called Yudhisthir and Duryodhan, and he told Yudhisthir to bring to him five bad people, and he told Duryodhan to bring to him five good people. By the end of the day, both of them came empty-handed. Yudhisthir said, "I saw something good in everybody, so I couldn't bring you five bad people." Duryodhan said, "I saw something bad in everybody, so I could not get you five good people." Even in our life - we meet people who are always negative and see negative in everything. Lesson for us to spend time with those with positive thoughts. Soch badlo, Desh badlo!

#Shani #Saturn

Shantamma makes and serves tea for Rs 20 in Kerala lagoon. Try Grandma tea - much better than any of 500 bucks tea one can have in a 5 star hotel or Starbucks.

More dangerous than cigarette smoke, A silent killer in the air, we choke. It seeps into our lungs, steals our breath, An unseen thief that whispers death. Do politicians breathe another air? Protected from toxins while we despair? We gulp, we fight, we struggle to survive, While they sit high, untouched, alive. @GretaThunberg @ShashiTharoor @suchetadalal @gupta_rekha @LtGovDelhi @NEAsg @UNinIndia @sabeer @malpani @kiran_stories @VinitaDeshmukh @Suhelseth @NayabSainiBJP

Trump's 50% tariffs on India punishing an ally and $100K H1B fees slamming Indian talent are alienating 5M+ Indian Americans. After 31% backed him in 2024 (up from 22% in '20), expect a blue wave in 2026 midterms. GOP, you've lost the desi vote! 🇺🇸🇮🇳 #Mamdani #Tariffs #H1B

Eating with your hands is normal in many cultures. I lived in Jakarta Indonesia for years, eating nasi padang (fucking good too!) with your hands is the traditional Indonesian way. With my Indo friends we all ate nasi padang with our hands. So what's the big fucking deal?🙄

The Indian middle class is on the brink of extinction.
The middle class has become the Government’s punching bag. We pay more taxes than corporates, run the country’s economy, and still get treated like trash. No subsidies. No relief. No respect. Just endless deductions, fuel loot, GST traps & TDS nightmares. Only 2% of Indians pay taxes, and that 2% is bled dry to fund freebies, vote-bank appeasement & corrupt babus living off our hard-earned money. @FinMinIndia , @IncomeTaxIndia, @narendramodi , @nsitharaman stop pretending. India runs on our sweat, our taxes, our sleepless nights, not your slogans. You’ve turned the middle class into slaves, taxed, ignored, and silenced. Enough is enough.

After the Moroccan explorer Ibn Battuta, Guru Nanak is the second most traveled person in the world. He traveled mainly on foot. With his friend, Bhai Mardana, he traveled more than 28,000 km around the world on five major journeys between 1500 and 1524. Happy Gurpurab!
