Today is Remembrance Sunday, when the nation falls silent for two minutes to remember the contribution of British servicemen and women. To pay our respects, The Council will be flying the Union Flag outside the Civic Centre from Sunday through to Remembrance Day on Tuesday 🇬🇧

The Thames towpath from Richmond Lock to Kew Gardens will reopen TOMORROW (Saturday 8 November) 🎀✂️ Join us for a short reopening event at 10am near the Richmond Lock end of the towpath, to celebrate the completion of the works and the return of this popular route!

The finished Twickenham Riverside will feature: ▪️ Terraced lawns, gardens, children’s play areas, riverside seating ▪️ 45 new homes alongside shops, a café, and community spaces ▪️ Improved pedestrian and vehicle links to King Street, Wharf Lane, Water Lane, and the riverside
