A 94% match in some gait analysis doesn't constitute proof. The FBI would have to have all its ducks in a row with more solid evidence than this. It seems like the accusation may have merit since I don't see any pushback so far.

Blaze covered it, there's more than the gait analysis. What's really disturbing is the FBI doctored the video they released by removing frames, to make gait analysis software fail. It only happened because the investigative sleuth managed to uncover the un-doctored video.

There is much more information than just the gait analysis: a car, a card, videos, paths, an address, reports, a neighbor, an order to stop the investigation— read the blaze article. The high probability gait analysis is quite compelling given the surrounding context.
