Petty politics won’t fix potholes.

Too little too late. Where were these people years ago?

This is ridiculous. This is the same as sanctioning countries we don’t like and then pointing fingers when they fail. Mamdani deserves a fair shot at bettering the lives of New Yorkers even though he will likely fail.

Withholding federal funds from New York because of how they voted isn’t leadership, it’s weaponization. Taxpayer money isn’t a partisan trophy. This political extremism on both sides needs to end before it breaks the country.

Carter’s two-page “MAMDANI Act” would both rescind all unobligated federal funds for NYC and ban any new funds while Mamdani is mayor—but even NYC’s lone GOP Rep. Nicole Malliotakis blasted it as “ludicrous,” signaling weak intraparty support.

That would only prove to his point that the system is built against you. Which it is, but communism is not the solution

Stop his broken funding

Anything to force states to rely less on the federal government for thier existence.

Do they not care that there’s MAGA in NY too? Oh wait, they don’t care about the citizens just millionaires and billionaires. What was I thinking?!

as much as i would love to see such a thing, doesn't this violate article 1 section 9 as a bill of attainder?

@RepBuddyCarter I propose the “Mamdummi Act” 😝

Here’s an idea: what if we limited federal funding to all states and got taxed less for it

Buddy Carter’s MAMDANI Act is a wake-up call—but let’s be real: federal dollars have been fueling Mamdani’s radical experiment for months. His rent freezes collapsed housing starts. His NYPD cuts spiked subway crime. His “city-run grocery stores” are taxpayer-funded ghost towns. Every dollar DC sends props up this disaster. Mamdani didn’t turn NYC communist—he turned it incompetent. Now Georgia’s right to cut the cord. Let him sink with the ideology he built.

Don't like this. I'm no Mamdani fan but there are American Citizens living in NYC, as stupid as they may be, that deserve federal funding like the rest of us. His policies will fail and this will be a boon for the Conservatives if we allow it to play out.

It might be easier just to deport the foreign communist.

How about limiting federal funding of socialist /communist agendas that infringe upon the rights of working class American citizens? I don’t think we can target Mamdani personally 🤔 We should probably add some “leadership” requirements for politicians like “no dual citizenship”, minimum citizenship requirements, mental fitness exams, and wouldn’t it be nice if they actually understood what is in the Constitution?
