NEW: Starship Flight 11 is targeting liftoff as soon as October 13, two weeks from today. Details:
- Flight-proven Super Heavy Booster 15 will make its second flight, previously having supported Flight 8. Of its 33 Raptor engines, 24 will be flight-proven.
- The booster's offshore landing will test a new landing burn sequence: 13 → 5 → 3, which is the planned configuration for future flights of Super Heavy V3
- Eight Starlink simulators to be deployed from Starship before an in-space Raptor burn
- Heat shield tiles were removed from vulnerable areas on Starship with no backup ablative layer in some places
- Starship will test a dynamic banking maneuver during landing to demonstrate the path future Starships will take during Starbase catches/landings
