I like to yell Judge and raise my hand dramatically at major Aussie events when I play. I just ask for a pen to sign the match slip while nearby judges panic a little - they think something horrific has happened for *me* to call judge. (I haven't earned a penalty since like 2015)

This side quest was adorable and fun... and had a good xp farm. FF7 purists are weird. FF7 OG was an overrated mess riddled with localization and storytelling issues. It's why it needs 1000 spin off titles to tell the story and it's *still* full of plotholes and retcons.

The 2-week rule exists for physical events for a lot of good reasons. A big one I can think of is so that tournament players actually have time to get cards in a market that runs out of product exceptionally fast nowadays. It should not impact online/non tournament players.

The one thing I learned way back when I used to stream - there’s so many players who just use the online client only and never attend events. They get cards and get excited about being able to play them immediately. They are Pokémon fans who deserve catering to as well.

Pokémon players who attend tournaments vastly overestimate their presence on PTCGL compared to casual who just wants to play their new shiny cards they just got today. 2-week rule is a tournament rule. PTCGL is not a tournament - it’s a place to just play Pokémon TCG.

Adding more formats risks overwhelming casual players and adds significant dev time each launch cycle. Even more so when you consider promo cards. It’s just messier than the existing system.

More than tournament people play PTCGL. They get new cards, they jam. It’s likely not within the app’s best interest to delay new product 2 weeks after pre-release. Casuals/Home players are an integral part of the game. It’s very correct to not have this.
