Enjoy. An obscure gem of mine. Carolco went bankrupt and the film received zero marketing. It deserved better.
#NowPlaying first time watch for me love an Errol Morris, @LouDPhillips, Fred Ward (RIP) joint

We’re Navajo and I remember watching this with my grandma. She was CONVINCED you were Navajo because your pronunciation of our language was really good. “Only real Navajo can talk that good.” Was what she said. We loved this movie so much.

Oh wow, I didn't know they'd tried to adapt one of Hillerman's novels back in the 90s. I'm gonna have to check this out for sure

I love this movie and First Power. Showed both of them to my kids this past Halloween. They loved them as well.

I just finished watching it. You were the best Jim Chee! I really wish the others had been made with you as Chee.

This was one of those 'replacement movies' at the video store I worked at. If we didn't have a certain film in stock, we would recommend this one and everyone came back very happy. Every! One! 'Obscure Gem' if the perfect description. Everyone should check this film out!

Will check it out!

I never knew this existed. We’ve been watching the series Dark Winds on Netflix, which is clearly based on the same Tony Hillerman book series. As I’m sure you know it stars @ZahnMcClarnon

Will look for it… thx

Indeed, it did, Big Brother! My mother was a big fan of the books and thought there could have been no more perfect casting of the role. There were a couple minor things that I'm sure were down to budgetary limitations, but nothing glaring, and you were excellent.

On a similar title, I was hoping AMC would put you in Dark Winds in one of their seasons by now. I’ll hit the vendors area at comic cons to look for your obscure gem.
