📌 UN: West Bank Sees Record Settler Violence, Dozens of Children Killed in 2025
October marked the highest monthly number of Israeli settler attacks since UN monitoring began in 2006, with over 260 incidents, an average of eight per day.
▪️ 150 settler attacks during the olive harvest injured over 140 Palestinians and destroyed 4,200 trees across 77 villages.
▪️ One in every five Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in 2025 was a child. Since January, 42 Palestinian children have been killed.
▪️ Recent Deaths:
Between Oct28–Nov 3, six Palestinians were killed — five by Israeli forces (including two minors) and one by a settler. Another detainee from Jenin died in Israeli custody.
▪️ Deaths in Detention:
Since Oct 2023, 80 Palestinians have died in Israeli prisons, including 51 from Gaza. Over 9,200 Palestinians remain imprisoned – nearly 3,400 held without charge.
▪️ Home Demolitions: 11 Palestinian structures were destroyed last week, displacing 13 people (nine children). In Zif village, Israeli bulldozers also razed a donor-funded water pipeline serving 1,000 residents.
