So, it's going to happen. That's fantastic! Good for the Bengals and Ja'Marr, Tee and Joe. What we want to see once it happens: 1) Multi year guarantees for both Ja'Marr and Tee. This signifies a change in the Bengals contract approach and would allow them to retain and sign other players. 2) Lowering the cap hits from both Ja'Marr and Tee in 2025. This should be expected but the Bengals like to overinflate their cap hits unnecessarily. Lower those hits and use the savings to extend Hendrickson and sign some other free agents. If both of these happen, it'll do more to excite me than the actual extensions would. The extensions are expected. We'll have a good time once they hit, but if they want to also win football games, those other things have to happen.
