A subtle detail I really like about Prehistoric Planet is how the breathing sfx for each group of animals is different.
It is most notable with Sauropods where it really does feel like giants are forcing air in and out of massive lungs through long necks and tiny nostrils.

Yes errors were made in the design of the Prehistoric Planet T. rex. Building models for TV and film is complex with COMPETING factors that both the fan community and nit-picking technical experts fail to understand. But it's a better representation than other pop culture visions
