They are training on the planes that we sold them… And just FYI the training planes do not have ordinance attached… Countries have done this for decades many many decades within the United States they’ve been doing it at Fort Chaffee near where I live Daily… I have grown up on and lived on military bases, my entire life. We are NOT building a Qatari military base in Idaho. We’re going to train their pilots. Period. We’ve been doing it for decades. I went to USAF pilot training and we had Saudis and Iranians flying with us.

RE: The "Qatari Base on American Soil" Please don't fall for this fake story. We're training some Qatari military pilots and their support crews at Mountain Home Air Base in Idaho (a USAF facility). We're teaching them how to fly and maintain the F-15QA. Boeing specially built these planes for Qatar, and now we're helping them figure out how to use them. This is something we have done with our military allies for oh... I guess.... maybe... for like THE LAST 70 YEARS OR SO!!!! Yes, as part of the training package we're building some new training sites in Mountain Home that the Qataris are paying for. That is not the same as "building foreign bases on US soil." It's still a USAF base in which the Qataris are our guests. Please do not believe the garbage.

Originally established as a satellite field for the nearby Boise Army Air Field (now Boise Air Terminal), it was named after mountain home pioneer Thomas Mountain
