The theme for so many guys trying to improve their lot in life is Wimpy from Popeye. They'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today. Except this time it's always about getting around to the important stuff, while you screw around with impotent rituals Part 3 is out. rianstone.substack.com/p/cas…

Name recognition, preferably by not being a lolcow, which is easier, but less useful in the long term. Probably why he's having doubts...
The strangest thing about this site is that no one can really say what the "point" of posting on here is. And a large amount of the conflict on here is produced by disparities in what each individual user's idea of "the point" of X is. There's just a gulf of difference between the X user who is here to earnestly "micro-blog" his life and ideas vs the guy who is pushing a particular political agenda vs the guy who's just in it for the payouts. And there's no real way to 100% accurately pin down who's who. Like I don't think too hard about what I post. I just log in, type my thoughts freeform, hit "post," and enjoy the ride. It's fun for me, that's why I do it. Keeps my mind active in between writing essays, reading, taking trips, etc. But there are quite a few users who find this offensive, develop long-term obsessive hatred for me over something I said two years ago, screen everything I say for inconsistencies, screenshot my posts and seethe over the fact that I even exist. I find that fascinating -- what motivates such people? Why can't they just hit 'unfollow' and scroll on? I think they forgot that the "point" of this site is FUN and really nothing else. The payouts are basically beer money; and it's extremely hard to drive traffic to off-site links here. Sure, there's a networking element here too, I suppose, but it's minor. Mostly, heavy posters just post for the love of it, for fun, because it's enjoyable to us. And the real heavyweights of X respect each other even if they disagree, because it's all in good fun. I've had a friendly beer with at least a few of my biggest detractors on here, and it was totally normal. The only ones making it suck are the guys who take it WAY too seriously.

It's cargo cult capitalism, where everyone treats having a large audience as a goal, when the point of a large audience was to have more exposure for whatever goods or services you offered. People are trading a customer base for internet numbers, and wondering why they are poor

Dr. Thomas Barnett told people back in 2003 what the Pentagon meant when they talked about globalism. It was 0 barriers across nation state boundaries 1. free flow of food (water) 2. Free flow of Capital 3. Free flow of energy 4. free flow of security 5. free flow of labor The last one was labor, and here we are. Welcome to the globalist end game.

MAGA slowly understanding what people mean when they say no one is coming to save you. Which sucks for Canada. At least someone is giving you lip service. We don't even get that.

Hello everyone, so, to the elephant in the room! A couple days ago whilst I was in the process of moving house I quickly checked my phone and saw that my account had been banned for ‘Hate Speech’. Previously all of my videos had been manually reviewed by YouTube and accepted for full monetization. It certainly wasn’t a particular video, and more than likely it was either a spur of the moment employee thing like has happened with some right wing figures on X recently or it was a well thought out political decision, presumably the latter. Either way, I have appealed but find it unlikely that anything will come of it. I’m not silly and obviously I knew I was in somewhat controversial waters, but that doesn’t make it any less annoying. It is, of course, a gigantic hit to me and my young family given that YouTube was my job for the past 2 and a half years, based my life around it and spent about ten hours a day doing it. I even have about 5 years’ worth of books here for all of my future videos and I was just about to hit 270,000 subscribers and obviously, as you’ll know from my lore, I had grown up always wanting to be a YouTuber and it was an absolute pleasure to do it. I loved it and I don’t have a bad word to say about YouTube and even if they don’t have me back on now, I hope they will one day when there is less censorship pressure. Anyway, presuming that my appeal will be denied, I will be carrying on and relocating to Rumble where I’ll be uploading a few of my old videos a day before posting my new ones. I will also, starting next week I reckon, begin streaming twice a week and writing regular substack articles. I am fully aware that going forwards things will be hard and I will need to be far more reliant on your extremely kind donations and subscriptions now in order to survive but already, without me even saying anything or making a statement yet, I’ve been blown away by the support in the past few days. If you have enjoyed my content in the past and have ever thought out becoming a member or donating then please do take a look at the post below, to be completely honest I need it right now and I can’t put how much I appreciate it into words. But yes, TL:DR, I will be continuing on Rumble, uploading all of my old videos (yes, to all of the 100s of messages, I still have them!), streaming twice a week and writing regularly on substack. Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far, it’s been quite a journey, and hello to those of you doing a victory lap right now, I don’t blame you! Please feel free to get in all of your abuse below, it’s part of the game.

No one works in the mines, everyone is fat at a computer. Exactly
Hate to do the "well, ackchyually" here, but it's going to bother me all day if I don't post this. Your daily reminder that the whole "massive drop in testosterone!" narrative isn't true. The vast majority of the observed decline comes from assay and diagnostic drift + some level of population confounding. Any genuine biological drop is likely mild and largely secondary to rising obesity, not some generational endocrine crisis.

She knows nothing about mafias or the military.
What’s the difference between an army and a mob? An army has a hierarchy, while in a mob every individual does what he thinks best. You can give an army a mission. Give a mob a mission and you’ll just get chaos. On the other hand, the problem with mobs is that they’re easily led. They are too willing to do what they’re told. So do mobs have not enough blind obedience or too much? Both.  Mobs are individualistic, since each man follows his own whim. On the other hand, they are prone to mass hysteria and other mental contagions. They’re too individualistic and not individualistic enough. In general, men are institution builders (army) and women form more organic groups (mob). And, like the examples above, many sex differences are paradoxical. Women are more egalitarian—but also more obsessed with status.  Men are systematizers and rule makers—but women are more proceduralist and into process for its own sake.  Anything you say about women, someone can turn around and say the opposite and, often, both are true. This is why I don’t like making generalizations about men and women. If a statement is true and its opposite is also true, that’s not very helpful. The differences are real. They’re just hard to talk about abstractly. That’s why I usually prefer to talk about concrete, specific, observable situations in which gender plays a role, rather than pontificating in general terms about what men or women are like.

To the contrary. Canadians need to start being rude assholes. This isn't a polite disagreement between buddies over the best path forward for our country. This is existential. One side wants us to politely lay down and die. There is no reason to treat traitors with respect.
