Zohran Mamdani’s rent freeze isn’t policy—it’s economic arson. St. Paul tried this fantasy in 2021: rents froze, housing stock collapsed, landlords fled. NYC’s already crumbling buildings? They’ll rot faster. Mamdani’s “victory” is a death sentence for working-class New Yorkers trapped in mold-infested units with nowhere else to go. Meanwhile, Cuomo delivered real tenant protections without torching the market. Mamdani’s playbook? Import failure, sell it as justice, then vanish when the roof caves in.

Won’t happen, landlords are too strong. In 3 months, the gullible voters will be screaming that he failed. The rest of us are calm, knowing that being the mayor of NYC is a political graveyard, none of them ever go further and all end up disgraced.
