The devs must be absolutely heartbroken to see how many ""fans"" disrespect and belittle Aerith despite how much they've shown and SAID how important she is. The devs obviously love her dearly and yet we have the crowd of people whom the education system failed.

The first time we hear “Hollow” play is as we see Zack approach the party dragging an unconscious Cloud along. The other times we hear the instrumental version, Hollow Skies, are both referenced in places Zack has been and where he died. Give me fucking break.

When asked about character preference, 47.5% of CA's said they like Cloud but favor Aerith more. But close behind, 45% said they like Cloud and Aerith equally. 7.5% said they like Aerith but favor Cloud more. No voters said they only liked one character.

FF7 Spoilers: I've think I've cracked it. Cloud's a time traveller. He learns the move he needs to deflect Sephiroth away from Aerith during his battle with Roche, something he doesn't get the chance to do in OG. Cloud is stronger than he was in OG. Rebirth is his "second lap."
