The door is wide open for Marco Rubio and Ron DeSantis to give Vance a run for his money in 2028. This guy’s resume is paper-thin. He won one Senate race by a narrow margin in a red state. The electorate clearly dislikes Vance the more they get to know him. He is a risky candidate to make our nominee.

Just to be clear, Senate Rs and Ds: - Haven't agreed on a minibus - Don't appear anywhere close to an agreement on Obamacare subsidies. Dems aren't splitting. Rs arent moving. This is the issue at the center of the shutdown. I don't see a ton of difference between where they were earlier this week and right now. This is sure to change at some point.
