Why all these videos to create some third-world workarounds for common issues? Proper lead battery terminals are readily available...

I would put a corrosion inhibitor like penetrox on the wire, otherwise, nice.
Why the rubber hose? Just clamp the wire to the terminal. Use this method temporarily when you don’t have the proper clamp.
Okay, great, but how do you expect the terminal-cleaning job to be any easier than when you just do the connections in the normal way?
Gee if only someone would invent something metal that could bolt to that terminal....

Great on the trail fix it would work but would corrode very fast. 9/10 for usefulness?!

🤣🤣 As soon as the connection starts to arc "from amp draw" the tubing will melt resulting in even more arcing and eventually a connection failure or worse, bad idea.

What's wrong with ring lugs and battery terminal clamp?

Maybe as a "field fix" to get you back to civilization to get it fixed properly, not a long term solution.

🫤 It would better safer and easier to buy right battery terminal then to find a piece of scrap hose that fits correctly
