Yesterday, while chatting with a friend about the security crisis in the north, I warned that if serious measures are not taken, we could wake up one day to find bandits occupying elective offices across our states. Little did I know, some states are already there, how else do you explain this guy not being one of them? Look at how at ease he is mingling with terrorists, boldly posing for photos with them. With leaders like this, wallahi, the future isn’t just dim, it’s ULTRA DARK He must be impeached, arrested, and thoroughly investigated, if the government is truly serious!
Yesterday afternoon, Chairman of Funtua LGA paid a visit to armed group who have been involved in bandit activities, presenting it as a peace initiative. This public engagement with bandits sends a dangerous message and undermines the ongoing fight against insecurity in Katsina State. I call on Governor Umar Dikko Radda (@dikko_radda) to immediately caution and stop LGA Chairmen from romancing with armed groups. Such actions damage the state’s image and weaken public confidence in the government’s commitment to ending banditry.

This is what they want us to accept across the country. No sane country bows to terrorism.

My siblings: please stay alert I’ll call you to open the door for me Me in deep sleep wondering how the goat in my dream knows my name
The problem with incompetence is its inability to recognise itself.
Ok let me interpret this, bandits wanted to kill over 300 Christians for no just cause, a Muslim hid them in a mosque, the mosque was not attacked so they were saved. So why didn’t the bandit attack the mosque? Why was their safety only guaranteed in the mosque? It’s simple, the bandits were Islamic Extremists who wanted to commit a genocide against not one or two but 300 Christians. No matter how you moderates or radicals want to twist it, the sun shines in the sky!
Meet Imam Abdullahi Abubakar the Imam who saved over 300 Christians in Northern Nigeria from bandits by hiding them in his mosque for safety. He was later honoured nationally for his selfless and compassionate act towards the Christians in his community. No one shows more love and tolerance towards Christians than Muslims, because in Islam, we deeply respect Christianity and can defend it just as we defend Islam. No matter how the world tries to portray Islam, the light of Islam will continue to shine brighter every day.

The Nigerian military is not supposed to fight the US military, their job is terminate the terrorists. Except the Nigerian military is in partnership with the terrorists, then the US military will be forced to act!

I texted my husband at 10am that I received bad news about my father’s health and within 15 mins he was at my office, had already called my assistant to clear my calendar (before I could even walk to her office) and put me in the car to go to the hospital. He sat with me for 8 hours in an uncomfortable chair, he lost his entire work day including a court appearance, made sure my mom and I stayed hydrated (important), asked questions to doctors that I couldn’t think of, and never once complained. I am sure there are millions of partners who have done the same in a loved one’s time of need but in my line of work it is easy to forget what love truly looks like. If they want to they will.

Peter Obi keeps reminding me reasons why I stan him. Avoidance of unnecessary landmines. He just dey post education tweets dey go, nothing consign am. They have repeatedly said he's inconsequential - now, they want him to speak. God will take all of you.
