Today, PlayCanvas is sharing a live demonstration of our Streaming LOD system for 3D Gaussian Splatting. Dynamically stream vast splat-based scenes of arbitrary complexity. 100% free. 100% open source. Demo link 👇 [1 / 2]

Gaussian Splats often have floating splat issues - those faint, barely visible outliers with low alpha values that can clutter your scene. The Point View (blue dots) mode is a great way to spot them, but cleanup used to be tedious - using the lasso or brush selecting each stray splat one by one or in groups. With the new Flood Fill tool in @playcanvas SuperSplat 2.12.0, you can remove those sparse outliers in seconds. The Threshold slider makes it easy to adapt the selection range for more refined control. A fantastic addition for tidying up and polishing your splats!

At last we're getting a measurement tool in SuperSplat editor. We probably need to restructure some of the code to make it easier to add features like this.
