WWE has reportedly "never really cared" about the Women's United States Title. Per Sean Ross Sapp, its introduction was a "hastily made decision" following Chelsea Green and Michin's non-title feud. The outlet notes that on the Raw side, Becky Lynch "willed" the Women's Intercontinental Title "into relevance." When the US Title was created, it was done with "no significant creative plans."
