If you’ve never lived in the North or attended the university I went to, you might not fully understand what I’m about to share.
Some of the battles we fought and won on campus were not only spiritual. They were both spiritual and physical. We would pray for months before a programm. Sometimes, we even had prayer chains for programs like Thunder Bolt Crusade.
On the day of the program, our brothers would come with their cutlasses and walking sticks in case cultists tried to attack the worshippers.
Never pray in tongues alone when a man is coming at you with a weapon. Pick up your own machete and pray toward him. With prayer in your mouth and a machete in your hand, you will know where to strike. That’s called self-defense.
The weapons of spiritual warfare are prayer and the Word.
The weapons of physical warfare are physical weapons.
Never fight physical battles with only spiritual weapons.
Pray and prepare.
