People keep hearing about “Web3” everywhere and are curious: What is it and how do people earn from it? Let me tell you what web3 is the simplest form! READ ⬇️ 👇🏾 Web3 is just the internet where people own things directly, instead of companies owning everything. Right now Web2 platforms like Twitter, Instagram, facebook, banks, apps they control your data, your money flow and sometimes even your content. In Web3, you hold your assets yourself, through a wallet like a digital backpack that only you have the key to. No middleman. No permission needed. No company can freeze it or delete it. 🧪 What do people actually do in Web3? 1. Working for blockchain communities People help manage a groups, channels, discords, answer questions, or welcome new members and get paid for contributing time and effort. 2. Testing new apps before they launch (Testnet / early user rewards) Projects pay real users to try their platforms early and give feedback like being an early product tester. 3. Content creation around education Some people teach beginners, create explainer threads/videos, or simplify complex topics and receive sponsorships or tips. 4. Participating in blockchain events/quests Some platforms run tasks, missions or challenges~complete them and earn rewards. 5. Research & discovery Some people research upcoming tools, summarize them for others, and get paid by platforms that need visibility and awareness. 6. On-chain identity building Your reputation in Web3 can become an asset. Showing up consistently earns trust ~and trusted users get invited to paid opportunities. AND SO MUCH MORE. 🧪 How do people earn? Not just by “buy low, sell high.” That’s one route but not the only route. People earn by: •showing up early •contributing to communities •helping projects grow(yapping about them) •giving feedback •creating explanations and resources •building reputation that gets rewarded •etc Web3 = ownership + participation = reward. If you wanna go further, start with the basics using YouTube, blogs, and beginner courses learn what blockchain is, how crypto works, and why decentralization matters.
