I was not in Congress when all this Obamacare, “Affordable Care Act” bullshit started. I got here in 2021. As a matter of fact, the ACA made health insurance UNAFFORDABLE for my family after it was passed, with skyrocketing premiums higher than our house payment. Let’s just say as nicely as possible, I’m not a fan. But I’m going to go against everyone on this issue because when the tax credits expire this year my own adult children’s insurance premiums for 2026 are going to DOUBLE, along with all the wonderful families and hard-working people in my district. No I’m not towing the party line on this, or playing loyalty games. I’m a Republican and won’t vote for illegals to have any tax payer funded healthcare or benefits. I’m AMERICA ONLY!!! I’m carving my own lane. And I’m absolutely disgusted that health insurance premiums will DOUBLE if the tax credits expire this year. Also, I think health insurance and all insurance is a scam, just be clear! Not a single Republican in leadership talked to us about this or has given us a plan to help Americans deal with their health insurance premiums DOUBLING!!! Our country sent $30 billion to Israel in 2024 alone killing countless innocent children and sent HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS to Ukraine in the past few years. By the way, I voted NO to all of that murder! America has funded the Ukrainian government, Ukrainian, pensions, and Ukrainian businesses during this entire stupid war that America should have nothing to do with. All our country does is fund foreign countries and foreign wars, and never does anything to help the American people!!! It is absolutely shameful, disgusting, and traitorous, that our laws and policies screw the American people so much that the government is shut down right now fighting over basic issues like this. Again, NO FUNDING FOR ILLEGALS AND ANY BENEFITS FOR THEM, BUT WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE ABSOLUTELY INSANE COST OF INSURANCE FOR AMERICANS. You don’t HATE your government enough. I’m here in Washington DC this week to meet with anyone who is AMERICA ONLY and will work with me on a plan for AMERICANS ONLY!!!

Repeal the ACA, bring back catastrophic only policies. The less restriction to insurance companies (by forcing specific coverages), the more flexibility they have in creating unique plans people can choose from. Insurance is only a scam because of government involvement

You should be pushing for direct primary care. Most healthy young adults just need that and a catastrophic plan which together would be less than $2k a year. Instead they are paying close to $5k at the low end a year for health insurance that they'll never use. Get employment and marriage out of the picture for availability as well.

25 years old and dying- Insurance won’t cover his treatments, major hospitals won’t see him as his Covid-19 vax injury case is “too complex” and despite my writing a law and working on a national level for care for the vax injured, and despite terminal illness, Cody will die without treatment but his social security disability medicare case was denied. Cody is one of countless others, please step in and help now. 🙏 His life saving treatment alone is $36K out of pocket. This was a healthy young man cut down in his prime. Cody is the face of this crisis and he is dying without any help from his state of Florida “leaders” or Federal leaders. Time to untie hands and get these injured and abandoned citizens cared for. This is un-American to abandon our injured citizens who can’t afford their medical insurance, who are denied coverage and are denied care. Before Obamacare I had a terrific policy for my family for $1100 per month. It was then cancelled. We went without coverage for a year. Then when we bought coverage again it was twice as much with high deductibles. We had to leave our doctors. It was a scam from the jump.

The premiums are not changing. Taxpayer subsidies to cover up the cost of these exorbitant Obamacare premiums is what’s at issue. The Affordable Care Act isn’t affordable. Fix insurance and lower the cost. Then you don’t need taxpayer subsidies to mask what a rip off they are.

The $30B to Israel and the Ukraine funding aren’t what’s driving your district’s premiums — those are the result of market failures, corporate lobbying, and bad health-care policy right here at home. You’re absolutely right to fight for affordable coverage for American families. But let’s not pretend slashing aid to allies will fix a broken insurance system. It won’t. And it risks turning justified frustration into misplaced blame. Lead with facts — not fury. America deserves better than soundbites that confuse two totally different issues.
