In the dock, Westwood spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address, and did not enter any pleas to the charges.
When asked at the end whether he could hear properly, Westwood told the judge โnot reallyโ. He nodded as his bail condition was confirmed.
According to court papers, he is accused of indecently assaulting an alleged victim three times at the BBC Studios in the 1990s.
