So great to meet residents in Lower Haight to discuss the Family Zoning Ordinance today. In Lower Haight, base heights allowed for development are remaining the same, while higher heights already permitted by the State will be allowed in exchange for additional funding for affordable housing. This is how we build capacity for all levels of housing, and make progress towards mandates required by our State Housing Element.

California, you showed up big time. Thank you! You knocked on doors, you made calls, you voted, and you defended democracy.  But the work does not stop here. We must continue to organize to ensure we carry this victory into the midterms, and we will need you with us. Onward!
