Just got off the phone with Washington State. In one week, I’ll be flying to Washington State to help collect signatures to require proof of citizenship in order to register to vote. If Republicans in Congress won’t act, then we must take action at the state level. Forward.

I believe these state-level voter laws are a double-edged sword. While aiming for security, they can create unseen barriers for many eligible citizens. We must be careful not to solve one problem by creating a much bigger one for our communities.

We appreciate you, Scott! But, be mindful that in this sanctuary state, you are automatically registered to vote when you obtain a DL. And wouldn’t you know it, this state issues illegals DLs all day, every day! This is how they get some many “votes.”
