I know patches helped, and some got past it, but if a game can’t run great, don’t release it and fix it later. That game needs to work good out of the box with 1.0
This is why I was upset with the game, and waited. I’m glad I waited for NS2, but it is inexcusable to release a game from a franchise like Pokemon, when it makes money like wild and it preformed like this. It was deeply disrespectful for TPC to force it out, GF needed more time

this is partially true for their success.
they do make big AAA titles (Zelda, 3D Mario when out) those take time, but a solid AA releases help alot as well.
Normally, I champion Exclusives, but not on PC, it felt super scummy to remove games from steam, to make them exclusive to epic.
The other stores and launchers are bleh or bad. Besides steam and GoG I could say green man, but yeah. A lot of PC stores exist, they just aren’t steam
It’s not a monopoly, multiple PC stores exist. They just suck or are worse options compared to steam. Steam has the best pro-consumer things, sales, good return policy, not resource heavy. The closest to them is GoG, EGS tried more monopolistic tactics with their exclusives BS

I get it, its very high attention to detail and for those who notice? cool? but I feel like a majority of players will not notice, or give a shit. On top of that, I feel like they are gonna use this 'level of detail' to pump the price
