Max0r should not be getting any blame. He made an entertaining video, it helped MGR get noticed. That is all. How fans want to go about acknowledging MGR is the real issue.

They are not correct. The game did get finished and did release. Just because various elements changed between early first looks and final launch does not mean it didn't release.

They ARE correct. Metal Gear Solid Rising was scrapped and a whole new game, Revengeance, was developed by a different studio.

Because it's a meaningless observation. MGR has the exact same mesh slicing mechanic. The original post pointed out that Ghost of Yotei's bamboo slashing is nothing impressive.

Well then show MGR's slicing mechanic and not one from an unreleased game :) Also, I find the critique of GoY to be an issue in it and of itself because GoY's cutting demonstration isn't the devs acting like this is a revolutionary, never-before-seen feature in gaming.
