My Experience Volunteering at ETHGlobal. A Behind-the-Scenes Ride!
1/ Being a volunteer at ETHGlobal is a crazy one-of-a-kind experience.
You get to see what really goes on behind the scenes of one of the biggest hackathons in Web3.
Spoiler: it’s a LOT more than you imagine 👀

2/ From floor planning to assigning roles, managing spaces, time slots, and last-minute changes, there’s so much coordination that happens to keep everything running smoothly. As we have to handle a vast amount of crowd, every small thing is taken into consideration
3/ One of my favorite (and toughest) parts: swag bag packing!
Packing 2000+ bags is no joke 😂 but when you’re surrounded by a fun, energetic crew, it becomes one of the most memorable parts of the event.
4/ Volunteers are literally everywhere, helping with hacker & guest check-ins, scanning wristbands for food or entry, solving internet issues, guiding people around the venue, and a lot more.
5/ Every small task contributes to the big picture.
You start understanding how much effort goes behind creating an unforgettable experience for hackers, builders, and guests. 💪
6/ And honestly, the best part??
The people ❤️
You meet amazing organizers, passionate hackers, and fellow volunteers who make even the toughest jobs feel light-hearted and fun 💫
